Beth wanted to have the PRIVILEGE of buying a COLLEGIATE sweater that came with a CERTIFICATE. To JUSTIFY the expense, she asked the clerk to make an ADJUSTMENT in the price because of a small defect. Since this was somewhat ILLEGAL, the transaction was completed in SECRECY. In the same store, she read about a CONCERTO that would be held in the Music Dept. Another article stated that an INJURY had occurred to a JUROR near the LEGISLATURE. Since little of this information was of real CONCERN to her, she returned to the dorm.

Please NOTE: The word "concerto" is an Italian cognate and does not have a Latin root. The Latin root "CERT" means "sure or settled."

Carlo is a foolish COLLEGIATE individual who forgot to make an ADJUSTMENT in his cell phone manners. As a result, he had a car accident where a member of the LEGISLATURE sustained a CERTAIN INJURY. Now, fearfully, he shows CONCERN that he will face an unforgiving JUROR. He hopes the hearing will be held in SECRET chambers. Fortunately for him disclosure of his name would be ILLEGAL. Carlo does understand nothing can JUSTIFY following the rules when someone has the PRIVILEGE of a CERTIFICAT issued by the state as a license.
